ZHOU Hao was born in Shanghai, China in 1960. In 1983, he travelled to Japan and obtained two scholarships and graduated with Masters from Musashino Art University, Japan. Under the influence of his extensive education in Japan, Zhou’s works portrays simplicity and elegance, which is rarely seen in other Chinese artists. His compositions often consist of clean lines and abstract shapes, which transmit a tranquil and graceful energy. The void spaces in Zhou’s art pieces also create a refreshing and sophisticated finish that brings an insight of his mind and emotions.

He had held over 58 solo exhibitions in various countries and major cities and has works collected by Paris Museum of Graphic Art (France), Kracow National Museum (Poland), Cathay Print Museum (China) as well as Sekiguchi Museum (Japan).
